Parrish Art Museum

Located on fourteen acres of meadow in Water Mill, NY, the Parrish Art Museum focuses on work by artists from the artist colony of the South Shore (Long Island) and North Shore (Long Island). In addition to its collection featuring masters Dan Flavin, Roy Lichtenstein, Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, and Willem de Kooning, the Parrish houses one of the world’s most important collections of works by the preeminent American Impressionist William Merritt Chase and postwar American realist painter Fairfield Porter.

The 2012 redesign of the Parrish Museum’s website coincided with the opening of their new Herzog & de Meuron-designed building. The website features the museum’s exhibition and events as well as art education and curriculums. I set up the backend in Drupal to allow maximum flexibility and easy updates by museum staff.
